My Week At Camp 2.0

Hi friends!! Well it is July 31... WHAT, HOW, WHEN, WHERE?! I know it's crazy that tomorrow is already August. But anyways I wanted to share my experience at camp.. again!

This past week I got the amazing privilege to attend family camp! It was at Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre, the same camp I did junior high camp at, and it was amazing! It was clear that God had his hand over this week at camp. From the fellowship and people I got to meet, to the speakers and the worship, everything was just amazing. This camp is special because you have basically newborns all the way up to seniors. You have families and people from all over Canada coming together for a full week, laughing with each other and learning more about Jesus. It really is a special and unique week.

So in case you are curious, here is how my days went:

Mornings: Coffee and Jesus

Afternoons: Boating, tubing and lots of Big Moo

Evenings: Jesus

Nights: Italian sodas, card games, mcondals runs, and star gazing

One thing I just wanted to share that impacted me was that we have no need for fear. Fear is non existent in Jesus's eyes and love. I have Jesus on my side so I do not need to be afraid. Ever. Period. End of story. Whatever may come, whatever mountain you may be facing, whatever "impossible" task is in front of you do not let it drawn your heart in fear. Do not miss out on what God has for your life because of fear. So take that risk, follow that dream and say YES to God. He has an amazing purpose for your life that will come to light no matter what, so do not be worried or fearful.

I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to go away to camp for another week and continue to grow closer to God through the daily sermons. I learned a lot, I took a lot of notes and God challenged me to put my faith into action. Thanks for reading friends and happy August!!

XOXO

Maggie
