I'm backkkkkk!

Man it has been a HOT minute since I have posted last. Life got busy and I kept procrastinating and blah blah blah. here we are almost a year since my last post but I am showing myself grace and happy that you are here!

I was talking with a friend today while baking donuts (pumpkin spice donuts to be exact) and I told her how I haven't blogged in a long time. I said "I just don't have the time... well I do have the time I just don't use it wisely." Isn't that so true in our everyday lives? We DO have the time. We just do other things with our time!

So I thought "Okay Maggie, get yourself together, sit down and write a blog post because you have been wanting to for months".

Here I am writing this quickly before making supper and heading to youth.

And I thought I would make my first post back a recipe! Seeing as one of my first posts was also a recipe!

So here you go. My dad and I found a pre existing recipe and adapted it to be our own! We think that are so fluffy and moist and hope you enjoy!

The most heavenly, moist, festive and delicious donuts. That also happen to be the easiest thing on the planet!

Pumpkin Spice Donuts

Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 12 mins

Ingredients:

- one package of Spice cake mix (I like Betty Crocker best)

- 15 oz of canned pumpkin

- 3 eggs

- 1 cup of water

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350

2. Spray your donut pans with Pam or a cooking oil of your choice.

3. Mix all of that together in a bowl or mix master until combined well.

4. Pour the batter into a ziplock bag, cut the tip and use to fill the donut pans.

5. Bake for 12 mins

6. Take them out and let them cool for a few minutes.

7. Combine 1/4 cup sugar & 1 tsp of cinnamon in a bowl and dip the donuts in the sugar!

I hope you love them as much as my family does!

Also thanks for sticking around and reading my blog even if I post randomly. I am not sure when I will post next but I have a lot on my heart I want to share. So here's to making time for things you love, fall, and pumpkin spice donuts!

XOXO

Maggie
